Meet Our Team

Soltan is the founding partner of Northridge DentalWorks and has been here since its inception in 2007. He obtained an engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma, and then pursued a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Columbia University in the City of New York. After having a successful engineering career, Soltan decided to pursue a joint venture with his wife, Dr. Tavakol, to open Northridge DentalWorks.

As our director of marketing, he is responsible for the practices’ outreach and engagement. He is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the practice including patient relations, practice upkeep and, together with Dr. Tavakol, the management of the practices’ logistics in order to deliver the highest level of care for our patients. Soltan enjoys the quality care we are able to provide to our community of patients as knowing that day-in and day-out, Dr. Tavakol and her team are improving the way people feel about themselves.

Soltan has been married to Dr. Tavakol for over 40 years. Together, they have two children, Naiem and Nima, both physicians and surgeons, who they are extremely proud of and feel motivated and energized by on a daily basis. Soltan is an avid exercise enthusiast and enjoys spinning classes and hiking, both of which he does multiple times a week.

Raquel, a cherished member of our team since 2012, brings a wealth of experience with over 30 years in the dental field. Her journey is marked by attending many seminars and receiving coaching and training from renowned dental providers, enriching her expertise. Raquel meticulously oversees patient accounts, ensuring clarity in financial matters and maximizing insurance benefits. She loves the close-knit vibe of our office and has loads of fun memories with the team, from weddings to welcoming new family members. When she is not in the office, you can find her getting crafty with her awesome arts and crafts projects.

Rosy graduated from Everest College and joined us in 2012. She does a wonderful job to keep our office moving forward and credits her years of experience for the ability to perform her role. She loves her job, our team and seeing patients leave with a smile.

Rosy is part of a small family of five. She is very friendly and enjoys helping others and learning new things to expand her education. Outside the office, you can find her spending time with family and friends as well as the outdoors.

Lilly graduated from Canoga Park High School in 2005 and joined us in June 2023. She loves being part of a practice where everyone is friendly and works as a team. The way in which we greet people has a big effect on how they feel, and she enjoys how they feel welcome every time they visit our office. Lilly is responsible for keeping the office running and sets goals for herself to encourage patients to keep coming back. She hopes every patient walks out of our office with a big smile knowing they are getting the best oral care.

Lilly is a mother of two amazing kids, a 16-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter, who are her entire world. She is a busy football mom and loves spending time with kids, especially going shopping with her daughter.

Stacy, a key member of our team since January 2024, completed her dental school training at UEI in 2016 and earned her certification as a registered dental assistant in 2023. She is known for her teamwork and dedication to performing her duties to the highest standard. When she is not in the office, Stacy enjoys staying active, whether she is hitting the gym or skating.

Amy, who joined our us in September 2022, is an alumna of California State University, Northridge, graduating in 2022. Following her successful completion of the dental admissions test in 2023, she is preparing to apply for a dental hygiene program in 2024. Amy contributes to the success of our office by engaging in our supportive and dynamic work environment as well as using her skills to provide quality dental assistance to ensure the health and safety of our patients. She is particularly passionate about improving patients’ oral health and values the opportunity to interact with them and learn from our experienced doctors.

Amy is a hard-working individual who devotes a lot of time to the dental field, and she credits her mother as her biggest supporter. Beyond her professional commitments and educational endeavors, Amy enjoys working out, experimenting with makeup and trying out new restaurants.
