Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Niloo Tavakol graduated with honors from Tehran University School of Dentistry in 1985 and has been serving the dental needs of communities in a variety of locations and environments for over 22 years.

Dr. Tavakol began practicing dentistry in Tehran, Iran, in 1985, where she owned and managed her own practice. She and her family made the move to Los Angeles, CA, in 1994 where she pursued an extended dental education from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA. From 1996 to the present day, she has worked in a variety of health management centers as a managing doctor supervising and maintaining the efficiency of the practice.

Dr. Tavakol is an active member of the following associations: American Dental Association®, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Association of Implantology. Dr. Tavakol recently completed 160 hours of oral surgery and implant procedures and continuously attends continuing education courses on all new technology and third generation dentistry requirements.

Dr. Tavakol’s extensive experience in the dental field enables her to provide a customized treatment plan which best suits each individual’s needs.

Dr. Candice Shahandeh-Rad, an esteemed graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a dental degree from the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. Her academic excellence is reflected in her recognition on the Dean’s List and graduating summa cum laude. She is an esteemed member of both the American Dental Association® and the California Dental Association.

Renowned for her patient-centered approach, Dr. Shahandeh-Rad is dedicated to crafting personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient. Her commitment extends beyond clinical excellence; she places a high priority on creating a comforting and reassuring environment, ensuring that patients feel at ease and supported during their dental visits.

Dr. Jin Park has been providing orthodontic care for over 20 years in Southern California and has successfully bridged years of experience with many dental professionals. His mission is to give his patients undivided attention and personalized care. He personally oversees his patients’ orthodontic treatment throughout their orthodontic journeys. Since he understands that patients usually do not know what their treatment options are, he provides thorough explanations and customized care plans to help the patients make their own informed decisions.

He likes to play golf and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, especially eating out at various gourmet restaurants.

Dr. Jonathan Peri graduated from the University of California, San Franscisco School of Dentistry in 2013. He also attended medical school for oral and maxillofacial surgery and medicine. He is a member of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (CALAOMS), American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).

He continuously strives to further his education each year and provide the most current and minimally invasive surgical techniques for his patients with the utmost care and compassion.
